It's the off season and 141 Days until Nevada Basketball tips against BYU at home on November 6th, but there's much more news this summer than Pack fans are used to. Let's recap through June so far and we'll update as we go!
Schedule Updates
The MWC released the Conference schedules for all teams on June 11th. Notable mentions:
Game vs Akron?
While browsing Coach Muss' blog, came across a game for Akron scheduled for Saturday December 22. The game was quickly deleted after it was tweeted out. The Zips would have been an amazing home game just two seasons ago, last year however the young team with a new coach went 14-18 (6-12 MAC). If the game remains, would hope to see a turn around from a more experienced team or Nevada could be faced with a Quad IV game at home. Cal Baptist Nevada Basketball also tweeted the non-conference schedule out as is and the game vs Cal Baptist which was to be a home game as part of the Las Vegas Invitational was not listed. It was also not listed on Coach Muss' Blog. Nevada has 1-3 games left to schedule depending on Akron and Cal Baptist. See the Future Schedules page for more details!
Kendall Stephens NBA Workouts
Kendall Stephens who set the single season MWC record for most 3-pointers in a season (126), at least 22 after tearing a ligament on his shooting hand, has been attending NBA workout around the country. From tweets, we can see he's participated in at least 6 workouts! Best of luck Kendall!
Coach Muss' Son Michael Joins Coaching Staff
While it's been known for several months that this was going to happen, the hiring has been made official. Great timing for Father's Day! Welcome to the Pack Michael!

Nevada Football hasn't received as much love, but we're looking forward to big improvements over last season. Looking beyond next season already, the Wolf Pack picked up three Verbal Commitments all 3 star prospects in the 2019 Class. Welcome to the Pack!
Chris Murray of the RGJ has a breakdown of each commit here and the 24/7 Sports Profiles for each player are linked below. Appears the 2019 Class has 12 Scholarships remaining.
Javale McGee Started the last 3 games of the 4 game series. McGee gave Golden State some good minutes. averaging 7.25 Points, and 2.25 Rebounds in 13.5 mins per game. After game one, a twitter user threw out a regretful bet.
